Overview

Job Title: Senior Facility Manager (SFM)
Reports To: District Manager/Area Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt

 

SUMMARY: The Senior Facility Manager (SFM) is responsible for the operation of
pinsetters, pinspotters, automatic scoring machines, lanes and other facility equipment at
the highest level of operating proficiency of an assigned home center. In addition, acting in
the capacity as Center Facility Manager, assists with planning and budgeting for repairs and
upgrades, and performs administrative, logistic or other duties as assigned. The Senior
Facility Manager must provide leadership and vision to the center staff in support of Bowlero
Corp’s mission and values. As Senior Facility Manager, the SFM will use his or her unique
knowledge and skills to provide leadership to the mechanic staff and direct preventative
maintenance and repair of center bowling equipment and building systems in an assigned
territory.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but
are not limited to the following.

  • Assists DM(s) and Area Manager(s) with hiring/interviewing new Center Facility
    Manager candidates.
  • Works with Bowling Tech to ensure quality individual training is provided for Center
    Facility Managers, B mechanics and C Mechanics; completes follow-up training and
    mentoring.
  • Works with Center Facility Manager, B-mechanic and/or C-mechanic on established
    company programs including routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all types of
    bowling equipment and building systems, lane maintenance and safety
    policy/procedures; performs regular inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Provides “first response” automatic scoring and other equipment technical support in
    an assigned territory.
  • Participates in the day-to-day management of the bowling center from a technical
    perspective. Performs management tasks necessary to contribute to the efficient
    operation of the bowling center.
  • In conjunction with the General Manager, hires, trains and supports C-Mechanic(s)
    and B-Mechanic(s).
  • Trains lower level Mechanics (B and C) in Bowlero Corp machine area safety
    procedures and Bowlero Corp standards of operation for bowling equipment, building
    maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Schedules staff efficiently to accommodate varying business volumes and assists
    General Managers in assigned territory with scheduling.
  • Ensures Bowlero Corp operational compliance with appropriate laws and policies to
    include OSHA safety practices and procedures.
  • Suggests improvements to facility and equipment systems to improve performance
    and reduce environmental impact and cost.
  • Improves and updates current inventory system; keeps inventory current.
  • Obtains bids for regular and emergency repairs/maintenance of the facility in
    accordance with the budget proposal.
  • Monitors/maintains machine stop records and stop summaries to determine
    necessary repairs.
  • Identifies and suggests repairs and replacements of malfunctioning bowling
    equipment with final approvals from General Manager, District Manager or Area
    Manager as appropriate.
  • Monitors and schedules regular maintenance of the HVAC system, roof, plumbing
    system, electrical system, life/safety and other building systems.
  • Performs maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Updates the Bowlero Corp preventative maintenance charts for the bowling center
    equipment as posted, (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually).
  • Ensures that high scoring lane conditions meet and align with USBC specifications.
  • Keeps a clean and organized workshop.
  • Senior Facility Managers must successfully complete the Bowlero Corp B- and C
  • Mechanic training programs for the machine type in their assigned center, as well as
    any other training programs developed for their position.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays
    to support business needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: C-Mechanic(s), B-Mechanic(s)
QUALIFICATIONS: Senior Facility Managers must possess a strong sense of customer service
and interpersonal skills to include high integrity and respect for everyone. The Senior Facility
Manager must demonstrate solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical
thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.) The Senior
Facility Manager must possess an ability to work in a team environment with shared
responsibilities and must possess a strong desire to grow and help develop the technical
staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Two years related experience; or equivalent combination
of education and experience required.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Bowling center environment where you will
walk, bend and stand for periods of time, and may lift objects with some assistance. The
noise level is typical for bowling.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 / year. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
