    SUMMARY: The Manager of Training will support all training initiatives by working closely with the Senior Manager of Training and assisting with Training Logistics, coordinating training and travel plans of trainees, as well as deliver training such as TIPs and ServSafe in the market. The Manager of Training Manager will focus on a specific Core Training Center.



    • Responsible for the booking and travel plans of all new trainees within specific core center.
    • Determine and implement methods to improve training effectiveness.
    • Ensure positive on-boarding experience for all New Hires in Market.
    • Helps establish and maintain an environment conductive to learning and retaining associates and managers; maintaining the standards required of a Core Training Center
    • Facilitates training classes, seminars, and working sessions related to the Core Center Manager Training Program, and ensure that the current training materials are being utilized.
    • Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions in Training Center Locations.
    • Conduct Orientation sessions for mass hires on coordinated days
    • Conduct TIPS/ServSafe or other mandated certification training sessions
    • Confer with appropriate management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
    • Assess and report on progress of employees during training periods.
    • Assist with deployment of strategic training plans.
    • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays to support business needs.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: College degree from a 4-year college or university preferred. 3-5 years formal training experience and/or hospitality operations experience required. Strong presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills. Team player. Ability to work flexible schedule as necessary.
